Hardware Development Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Hardware Development Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of hardware systems and components from concept through production. This role requires a deep understanding of embedded hardware design, PCB layout, circuit simulation, and compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and system engineers, to ensure robust and reliable hardware solutions.
Key Responsibilites
• Development of electronic circuits for mechatronic automotive products.
• Development of HW architecture and HW design.
• Analysis of hardware requirements and creation of specifications.
• Implementation of installation space studies, simulation and calculations.
• Representation of development results.
• Commissioning of circuits and returns analysis.
• Selection of suitable assembly and connection techniques in the context of the overall mechatronic system.
• Development of the hardware of electronic control units.
Qualifications
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable training with several years of practical experience.
• Experience Interest in electrical hardware development (thermal + EMC) in the automotive environment.
• Knowledge in the field of circuit development and design (simulations in PSpice, Matlab/MathCad desirable).
• Good knowledge of layout creation desirable.
• Good knowledge in the areas of digital and analog circuit technology (microcontroller, switching regulator and power electronics components).
• Knowledge of EMC suppression and circuit diagram or layout software.
• Communication skills and teamwork.
