Product Designer - Battery Digital Innovation

About the Role
As a Product Designer at MEATEC, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and interface of our Battery Passport and Battery Analytics solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create innovative, user-centered designs that enhance usability and functionality.
Key Responsibilites
• Conduct research and analysis to understand user needs, workflows, and pain points, particularly in the battery industry.
• UX/UI Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups that align with industry best practices and MEATEC’s design principles.
• Organize complex battery-related data with a clear information architecture to make it visually accessible for different user types (e.g., OEMs, End Customers).
• Foster collaboration by working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and business analysts, to bring designs to life.
• Conduct user testing and iterate designs based on user feedback and performance metrics.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends in battery technology, sustainability, and UI/UX to enhance the product experience.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is a must.
• 2+ years of Full-time experience in interaction design, product design, and product research, preferably in battery technology, sustainability, or data-heavy applications.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools for UI/UX design.
• Experience with prototyping and testing using tools like InVision, Framer, or similar for interactive prototyping and usability testing.
• Basic front-end understanding of HTML, CSS, and React components is a plus.
• Strong data visualization skills in designing dashboards and effectively visualizing complex datasets.
• Demonstrate soft skills such as strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into seamless user experiences.
